Pagan/celtic metal band MaterDea and Rockshots Records are thrilled to announce the reissued version of the highly acclaimed album “A Rose for Egeria” in Deluxe Edition!

The album includes a brand new version of the hit song “The Green Man” (from the album “Satyricon”), totally re-recorded at Domus Janas studios and mastered by Mika Jussila (Nightwish, Children of Bodom, etc) at Finnvox Studios.

“A Rose for Egeria” is the third album of the Italian band MaterDea, characterized by a new musical expression and a more powerful sound, enriched by technical refinements although maintaining the flourished melodies which MaterDea‘ s audience is already accustomed to. MaterDea was born out of the collaboration between Simon Papa and Marco Strega in 2008. Since the release of their first album they created a band with a strong rock structure perfectly blending mystical and dreaming atmospheres. Here, the voices, the fiddle and the keyboards graciously draw melodic lines upon the powerful rhythmic session.
